Any questions or are you searching a contact point on campus? Then get in touch with our service point. The service point is at your disposal for questions regarding finances, as first point of contact for student councils, autonomous departments aswell as other issues.
Consultation
If you need help with your BAfög application or have a question you don´t want to discuss with your Associate directly, our BaföG and Social Counsultation Service BAföG- and Social Counseling is here to support you. If you have a legal issue especially regarding civil or tenancy law and need free advice from a lawyer, you can contact our Legal Counseling.
Emergencies
At beginning of the semester, many students come to Cologne. While we´re happy to welcome you all to a new chapter in your lives, at the same time you often face challenges with Cologne´s housing market. At the beginning of each semester we offer a temporary emegency shelter for those who haven´t found accommodation. Emergency Shelter. By the end of the month money has become tight and the semester fee is due? We offer interest free bridging loans. As for all matters regarding the nonusability of the semesterticket or other financial hardships, you can contact the hardship committee.
Services and Rentals
Does your bike have a flat tire or are the brakes squeaking? No problem! At our bike repair shop, you can get your bike back in shape for your next ride to campus with some guidance. If your laptop breaks down right before an important deadline, our laptop rental service is here to help. And for the next student council party, you can rent everything from beer tent sets to pavilions at our equipment rental, and use our tool rental for your next DIY project.

Braucht ihr eine Pause vom Lernstress? Dann ist unser CampusGarten der perfekte Ort für euch, um gemeinsam mit anderen Studierenden zu gärtnern und zu entspannen. Für alle, die sich nach dem langen Sitzen in der Bib auspowern oder neue Sportarten ausprobieren möchten, bietet der Hochschulsport ein riesiges und kostengünstiges Programm an.
Lebensmittel retten
Euer Kühlschrank ist leer, aber das Monatsende noch fern? Bei FoodFair könnt ihr euch kostenlos gerettete Lebensmittel abholen und damit gleichzeitig etwas gegen Verschwendung tun. Ihr habt selbst noch Lebensmittel im Kühlschrank, die bald ablaufen? Dann bringt sie zum FoodMarkt, unserer Tauschbörse für Lebensmittel, und macht damit anderen eine Freude, anstatt sie wegwerfen zu müssen.
